Overview:  Catalyst has multiple openings in support of fast-paced, high-priority, Marine Corps programs and strategic initiatives. Among those positions, we are looking for several qualified mid-level Analysts. This position requires a person who is driven to excel in a dynamic project-oriented environment collaborating with a team of multi-disciplinary professionals. This analyst will have a decisive influence on project success by conducting research and analysis, problem-solving, critical thinking, and strategic planning in support of program objectives.

Job Tasks:
· Champion the planning and performance of critical tasks to achieve project goals
· Research and develop an understanding of project needs; take actions to ensure needs are met for success
· Anticipate requirements and initiate actions to accomplish project goals
· Study program practices, document findings, and prepare recommendations for new solutions or procedures
· Explain proposed solutions to clients, supervisors, or other parties through effective written proposals, oral presentations, and visual graphics/diagrams
· Plan, lead, and support team activities during planning, milestone preparation, proposals and other surges
· Interface and build relationships with clients and team members to understand requirements

Technical Tasks:
· Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of project goals across all performing disciplines
· Translate project goals and planning guidance into planning products such as an Integrated Master Plans (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), project schedule, and plan of action and milestones (POA&M)
· Develop, identify, and evaluate multiple courses of action. Provide recommendations for action with rationale.
· Study program practices and publish reports identifying problems and solutions for review by supervisors
· Formulate innovative solutions that improve efficiency, drive down costs, and address program weaknesses
· Synthesize study and research findings into clear memos and reports
· Create and give effective visual and oral presentations identifying program weaknesses and improvements
· Break down and analyze large-scale program practices in various areas of operation
· Formulate ideas and concepts into clear visual graphics, PowerPoint slides, and diagrams for presentations
· Translate plans into professional documents with narrative, supporting figures, and compliant formatting
· Identify mission goals on projects, and review practices to ensure appropriate goals are prioritized and met
· Review, understand, and implement organizational policies and guidelines on projects and proposals
· Facilitate meetings among stakeholders to achieve meeting objectives

· Translate meetings and conversations into cohesive narrative as a reference for planning and follow-up

· Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish goals

Tools and Technology:
·  Microsoft Office Suite software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· SharePoint
· Microsoft Project
· Web-based collaboration tools including Skype, GoToMeeting, and equivalents

· Ability to read, synthesize, and apply a high volume of information in a short period of time
· Ability to adapt and learn something new overnight

Preferred Experience and Other Qualifications:
· Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance required
· Ability and willingness to surge in support of team and program needs
· Consulting skills or experience preferred
· DAWIA training preferred
